Terms & conditions

In the interest of the smooth running of the nursery we would like you to take note of the following conditions. These conditions will ensure that the nursery maintains its high standards of care and safety of the children who attend.

• To secure your child’s place at the nursery an enrolment fee of £20 is payable, a free 2 hour settling in session is included.

• Full time and regular session fees will be paid by monthly direct debit due on the first of each month.

• Fees will normally be reviewed annually.

• Normal fees will apply during periods of absence such as sickness and holidays.

• The fees will be charged on a monthly basis (from September 2010).

• Once a child has taken up a place 4 weeks written notice will be required if you need to withdraw or reduce sessions.

• If fees are not paid within two weeks of the due date then we reserve the right to exclude children.

• When a child becomes ill within the nursery, we will contact either you or your designated adult to pick up your child. If the illness is communicable then we will expect you to keep your child away from the nursery while the infection is present. In the instance of tummy bugs we require you to wait a further 24 hours after symptoms pass before bringing your child back to the nursery. All medicines brought in to the nursery will need to be handed to a member of staff and must be in the original named bottle, and a medicine form will need to be filled out by you and a staff member. We will administer medicines according to your instructions but can only do so if we have your written permission.

• If you are unable to pick-up your child, we will require a pre arranged password on the enrolment form. This will need to be used by the alternative person collecting your child. If this has not been arranged, we will be unable to allow your child leave the nursery.

• If parents/guardians arrive early or late a surcharge will be levied for every 5 minutes outside of nursery hours.

• Parents are asked to provide: For children not yet toilet trained - nappies, cleansing wipes and barrier cream. Babies not yet taking cows milk will need to bring in formula/breast milk ready made up in bottles, which will be returned, washed at the end of the day.

• We regret that we are unable to swap session times on a temporary basis. We will require 4 weeks written notice if you wish to change sessions on a permanent basis.
