Sickness

If a child becomes ill whilst at the nursery we will contact either you or your designated adult to collect your child. If the illness is communicable then we will expect you to keep your child away from the nursery while the infection is present. In the instance of tummy bugs we require you to wait a further 48 hours after the symptoms pass before bringing your child back to the nursery.

All medicines brought into the nursery must be handed to a member of staff in the original named container and you and the staff member must fill out a medicine form. We will administer medicines according to your instructions but can only do so if we have your written permission.
