Policies & procedures
Child Protection
At The Warren Nursery we will abide by the safeguarding procedures laid down by the local authority to ensure the welfare and protection of every child. Our Staff are regularly trained in safeguarding. There is a copy of all our policies in our reception area, parents are welcome to read these at any time.
Behaviour Policy
Staff model manners and encourage positive behaviour with lots of praise. Children will be treated with respect at all times.
Equal Opportunities
We have a fully trained special educational needs co-ordinator to liaise and work with parents and the appropriate authorities if necessary. All children will be treated as individuals and children are encouraged to develop positive attitudes regarding race, culture, special needs, language and gender. Children with disabilities and special educational needs will be most welcome. Throughout the nursery the children celebrate a variety of festivals from different cultures, including Christmas, Chinese New Year and Diwali.
Complaints Procedure
If you have a complaint or concern, please advise a member of the management team, we value your comments on whatever your concern may be. If you do not feel satisfied with the outcome then please inform the Proprietor, Mrs Sue Coward. If you have followed this strategy and you still feel dissatisfied then, then you will need to inform Ofsted, whose address can be obtained from the notice board in the reception area. However, this is viewed as a last resort, as we hope to resolve any issues positively by exploring all avenues and possible solutions.
If you have any concerns please speak to a member of staff.
