What to bring to Nursery

For children not yet toilet trained parents are asked to provide normal nappies, cleansing wipes and barrier cream. Babies not yet taking cows’ milk need to bring in ready-made up bottles, which will be washed and returned at the end of the day.

It is important that during the winter months the children have named Wellington boots, a coat, a hat and gloves. We ask you to label all property/clothing brought into nursery. We cannot accept responsibility for any lost property.

During the summer months a sun hat, preferably legionnaire’s style is advised. This can remain at nursery to be used as required. We also limit outdoor play in very hot weather too early in the morning and late afternoon to avoid the hottest part of the day. We ask parents to provide their own sun cream and request that you apply sun cream to your child at the beginning of his/her session and we will then reapply when needed. Children not provided with sun cream or a hat will be asked to remain in the shade or inside the building, for their own protection.
